I just got steering wheel from the new TT with paddle shifter complete with airbag. My stock steering wheel is with button shifter. Can i replace it and make it work? Has anyone done this before?

AFIK, you can use the paddle shifters in your car. My car is a manual so I'm not 100% sure, but in researching installation for my MKII MFSW, I think I read they work on cars that had pushbuttons. You will need a new S/C ring, maybe the control module, and adapter plug. Look for the write up that HX_Guy did on it. Diagnosticator might know for sure about this. You can also do some research over on navplus.us.

I've been wondering this myself over for the past week or so, I'd love to get more information on the conversion.
