    Stock DV Valve Confirmation

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I just replaced my Forge Splitter with my stock DV Valve, but I want to confirm that this is the set-up for the stock valve:

And yeah, stock has no sound compared to the splitter, I already regret selling it.

    Re: Stock DV Valve Confirmation

Mine came out the other way around. But I think I'm safe to say it will work either way.

So your vacuum line is attached on the passengers side (if facing the car)?

    Re: Stock DV Valve Confirmation

Yeah I'm fairly sure it was, but that was a year and 1/2 ago so I can't be positive. I do remember from a very old post that It doesn't matter which way it goes, kinda like a Forge 007, they can be run either way regardless that the stocker is has a diaphragm not a piston.

There is also debate that running the stocker in the direction from your first post is the best way.
Hopefully some one can chime in that knows exactly.

Good luck finding that thread. It was one of the first I ever read (no telling what the title was, probably "Help"). Anyway the direction in the 3rd post will be a factory placement and will work fine. Even if the other direction is "considered" better you won't notice.
