    Why me???

Alright so last week I posted up a an issue i was having with my cooloing fan turning on by it;s self at night and killing my battery. Well, i temporarily fixed it by disconnecting the fan. Well, I haven't really been driving it the last few days but, today it was 11 degrees out today and when i got home i tried to start it and nothing happened. It didn't click or attempt to turn over. It wasn't a battery thing because i had interior power plus i tried to jump it and it did the same thing. Do you think because it was so cold out today it's just frozen? It's suppose to be in the 40s tomorrow. Do you think that it might start tomorrow or am i looking at more $$$ out of my pocket? I love my car and everything but, these are the times i wish i had a Honda(Uugh, i just tasted throwup) Help me guys.....talk me off the ledge!

    Re: Why me???

I would take the battery to autoparts store to test it.

All the interior components can still work, but if the battery has a collapsed cell, then it wont have enough power to engage the starter.

But, I tried to jump start it and it did the same thing. Could it still possibly be the battery?

    Re: Why me???

Jump starting it wont cut the trick this time.

Should take you more than 5 minutes to unbolt the battery. Take it to an Autoparts store that will test it....it free

If that comes back as a pass, the battey is good, than I would lean towards rhe starter....but I am betting on the battery. This has happened to me on 3 differents cars I have owned ....not the audi though
