ACT clutches?

I was reading in Eurotuner that ACT has released clutches for our cars? Can anyone confirm this. I looked on their website and it says they are unavailable.

Odd that they wouldn't be selling it seeing that they have a site showing it being released as a new product for 2008.

Yeah I just saw they had them for our cars in the dec issue of eurotuner. Ill have to give them a ring 2morrow. I loved my act in my dsm.

Yeah the only down side is that they only offer a stage 1 street clutch kit and 2 race clutch kits. So its race clutch or a clutch good for a stock K03.

Yes I saw that very same ad as well and went to the website and apparently their site doesnt have the application.

UPDATE: I called act today and they only offer 2 clutches for our cars like a previous poster said. The only street disc (as opposed to a race puck)clutch holds up to 286ftlbs of torque and is paired with their "modified street" Presure plate. Then he told me it was $697 dollars. Then I told him to go f*ck himself. Ill stick with SB

Yeah that is a bit much for a clutch that would only be good for a chipped K03.

yes, southbend FE SS retail is $650 i think and includes their resuracing. i think you can get the full faced or puck


im glad my FE SS is holding up to the ground breaking torque of my 1+! although i am pretty hard on it and even taught a chick to drive on the FE SS

I had a their street disk with the 2600lb pressure plate in my Eclipse and it was freakin' invincible!

Yup I had the same exact setup on my talon and I loved it and beat the living shit out of it.
