Well Greyhound should be the cheapest i guess, but they dont deliver to your house.
I think i've shipped more than 2 sets of rims VIA UPS with no problems.

I have used UPS and FedEx with no problems. For packaging, you can use some thick cardboard and cut slightly bigger than the rim. Put one on both sides and use packaging tape (that is if you are sending the tire as well.)

I have shipped and received wheels this way (via FedEx) with no problems. And to make it all easier I know a lot (if not all) of Kinko's locations will ship them from their store if you take them there (since it's FedEx/Kinko's). Makes for easy accessibility (store hours-wise). Hope your transaction goes well.

Re: best way to ship wheels?

I had wheels/tires shipped from MA to NJ via DHL and it was ~$100. The guy who sent it to me did a shitty job packing them. I suggest you use a lot of cardboard between the alloy edge of the wheel and the box/other wheel (if you're stacking). And get a sturdy box too
