Re: Rough prototype A5/S5 style LED headlight done

    This is still my favorite:

But, I want to extend the LED out more towards the center to make the straight across part a little longer. Which will work nicely once I add some more space between the two projector housings.
It flows out of the hood seam better, and is easier to fabricate and overlay with CF. The design from tonight in the pics above where it goes all the way past the turn signal and curves up won't be easy because I'm using single LED's on the final version, not the flexible strip used in the prototype. As such, I need room behind it all for the LED wiring. That isn't a problem all along the bottom, or behind the "curve up" of my original design from page one. Over past the turn signal, however, that would mean I'd have to build out some plastic, or drill through the headlight lens to have the LED sticking out of the back of that portion of the headlight and in to the space behind the fender. Not fun.
All youz haters can make your own damn design, lol. I'll come back to it this weekend and see if my thoughts are still the same. Sooner or later I'll stumble on the design that just "works".

That's the best one so far, I would like to see the LED's all the way towards the center grill.
