APR Presents Stage 3 Turbocharger System for 2.0T FSI A4's!

APR is pleased to present our newest Stage 3 family member for the B7 A4 2.0T FSI!







The above dyno graphs were generated in house or at an indepenent testing facility. Our Engine Power numbers are derived from multiple runs on our in house Dynapack All Wheel Drive Dynamometer averaged to mean values to include the highest and lowest power acheivement. The following two graphs were generated on a Dynojet All Wheel Drive Dynamometer at an independent tuner shop for actual wheel power.

APR's Stage 3 produces 375hp and 352 lb ft of torque at 20psi of turbocharger pressure. All oem safety features are left intact and all oem or teir 1 supplier stress tolerances are met or exceeded. Each component included in the APR Stage 3 is designed for the rated operating conditions produced by the Stage 3 and will provide many of years of reliable operation and enjoyment.





APR's Stage 3 Turbocharger System includes every nut, bolt and gasket necessary to the installation. Boost delivery and intake piping and hoses are cast aluminum or wire reinforced multi-ply silicon designed specifically to the application. More pictures will follow with a complete overview of the more than 150 included peices as well as other highlighted parts crucial to efficient and hassle-free design.

APR's first Stage 3's will ship on Monday, December 15th!

APR recommends a front mounted intercooler, performance exhaust system and Carbonio Carbon Fiber Airbox for best results.

Each Stage 3 will include a new plate for Carbonio's Carbon Fiber Airbox for fitment of the Stage 3 MAF housing and may not mate to the oem airbox or other aftermarket intake systems.

APR recommends an upgraded clutch for manual transmission vehicles and makes no claims to the durability of CVT and Tiptronic transmissions when used in conjunction with the Stage 3. APR's Stage 3 exceeds the OEM ratings for power handling capabilities and it is at the purchasers beware to choose to install an APR Stage 3 on a vehicle which is not equipped with an upgraded transmission.

Not yet. The work has been done for quite awhile now and we are waiting for inventory of one part.

If I remember correctly, we will release 06 and 07+ simultaneously!

The only thing I do not like is that you suggest a new clutch for a MT. So it's really like $7500 if you don't have a fuel pump. + another 1000 for FMIC. + another 1000 or more for installation. So about 10 g's. However, if I win the lottery tomorrow night, I'll be giving you guys a call. As well as my Audi dealership to order an R8.

If you look at other posts on the zine. ull notice tiptronic users will be upgrading to this kit, BUT after upgrading the torque converter and sum tranny work. Will run same price as manual instead of a clutch, ur gettin the other work..Dont fret

That is just so stupid that people are going to do that much work to their car just so that it can accept the kit. If you don't have a manual transmission these kits really aren't made for you. You will have put in 50% of the cars NEW value into mods.


But you should still buy this, b/c APR Rocks.

Lol, you could buy a CPOd b7s4 w/ 10-20k miles on it for cheap. (trust me, when electrical shit, fuel pump, steering pump starts goes, you want that CPO) Add the S/C kit of your choice, the only one available as of now. No clutch needed in the short term at least. Just an exhaust (w/o downpipes) 500hp.

Yeah if I did this, I would do a complete engine overhaul. The only thing that turns me off about this package is that it seems like it could possibly do a lot of harm to the engine unless you "rebuild" in the necessary places. All that aside great job APR.

You gotta pay to play. $45,000 car, plus $10,000 engine mods, $5,000 in suspension and you get a $60,000, awd, beautiful, economical, practical, and pimpin audi. That is still less than a Porsche and is in line with the cost of the M3 and similar cars.


In the past I've seen many, many people gawk at other board members "how can you justify that much money on mods?!" etc etc... If you buy a used B7 for $30,000 and add $15,000 in mods you're still under the cost of a damn entry level german car . That is how many people rationalize the expense, and IMO it is much more fun to mod a car than to buy one from the factory and do nothing!


BTW APR that manifold is pure sexor!

The upgraded High-Pressure Fuel Pump is required for the Stage 3 kit to ensure proper fueling for the large amount of air flow provided by the GT2871R.

i was actually just comparing to a stock S4, which is significantly lower @the wheels numebrs than this. i wanted to see how much $ this was in comparison to when B7 S4s were at MSRP... no need to berate me, i didn't claim B7 S4s were the fastest cars ever or anything jeez
