No Rs4 for 2009? PISSED OFF

The rs4 has been my dream car for the past two year. I am actually currently trying to purchase one.. eventually. but anyway audi promised an rs model every year but this year they decided to skip i guess, even though in Europe the rs6 is out. but not in America which is no fun. jut wondering if you guys have any news about the new rs's or anything.

i thought that the rs model was meant for the end of the platforms life. im not a 100% sure on that but it would make sense why they dont have one coming out in 2009.

geez, buy a 08 off the lot for cheaper than MSRP or find a nicely used one. If i remember correctly, there are two in the classifieds section for a decent price.

RS4's were only released in the U.S. for 07-08. I believe there are still some new 08's for sale at dealers. So what if it's not an 09? You'll love it the same ;)

Last week I stopped by a local stealership. They had two new RS4's discounted to 60K (Avus silver with black & red interior, Black on Black) and they had a B7 S4 Avant Ibis White MT6 for 40K new.

If you want to wait, I think the B8 RS4 is about 3-4 years out. Think 2012.

Why are you soooo upset? The most significant difference between the MY's is the Titanium package offered on the '08s, which you can get.

I just purchased a 2007 RS4 about a month ago and the dealer told me that Audi isn't bringing the RS4 back to the US until 2013.

RS models have always arrived in the "twilight" of a models life. Hence why the B7 RS4 appeared only in the last year or so of the life of the B7.

If there is going to be a B8 RS4 (not confirmed yet), then it won't be before 2010 (year, not model year).
