Re: Airbag light help - side igniter

I've got the same light, except for the passenger side. It is from too high a resistence in the wiring harness under the seat. There is supposedly a TSB on this. Audi's solution is to hardwire around the connector plug in the seat base. Diagnosticator advised me to not use a digital volt meter on testing these wires as the microvoltage from the meter may set the airbag off. I haven't had a chance to do the re-wiring so I don't know if this fix works.

make sure the sensor is still plugged in. I got an airbag warning when i pulled my bumper one night and cut the wire to the sensor when i put it all back together.
