stock is fairly cheap or plan on spending some bills on a beefier clutch!

What are you future plans? Something like a Southbend OFE would be nice and last a long time, while also giving you a better pedal feel.

    Re: Quality Clutch?

How many miles on your car, when the clutch went?

You may need a new, or resurfaced flywheel too...

    Re: Quality Clutch?

I called it! but that sucks tho.

If your going to keep it stock, just get a SACH's OEM clutch. They are like $170ish on ebay as well.

Make sure to get your flywheel resurfaced too.

    Re: Quality Clutch?

yeah i will. i wanna replace the whole kit...i couldnt find a stock one that cheap at alll. but i pulled the slave out and the pedal pushes the slave in and out with out a problem so im going with clutch...plus if i have someone in the car pushing it i can hear it pushing the fork in and out so im going with broken or jammed pressure plate.... this winter the car is getting chipped and possibly going k04... but kinda tight on money right now so i guess ill go with something cheap and hope for the best...ughh i wish i had the money to buy something a little more durable. but i guess thats next time. plus it doesnt look too bad to change this thing.. but if anyone has any idea about this boss clutch kit id like to hear it ...

oh and it has 63,000 miles on it and the clutch went after i decided it would be a good idea to let my little bro take it for a ride... he drives stick fine but for some reason he only made it about 2 miles down the road haha

Or spend a little more money on a SB clutch and get the stock flywheel resurfaced by SB for free. Kind of works out by using the resurfacing money to put into a better clutch.

    Re: Quality Clutch?

I bought the Valeo clutch kit from a local VW/Audi shop next to my house... the clutch once put in is AWESOME! plus in the kit, it includes a NEW single mass flywheel that is lightweight steel. 16 pounds i think. i see the kits on ebay right now for 399 buck plus 25 for shipping. but i cant seem to find the one with the smaller lighter flywheel, only 22 pound flywheels that look just like a dualmass.

Anyway, i love it and for the price you cant beat it since it comes with a flywheel also. its more heavy duty than a stock one, but its not a "racing clutch"

    Clutch shown with Smaller flywheel.

    Larger looking flywheel.
