The thing with the R8 wheels is, in my opinion, they HAVE to be hyper silver. None of the black or mixed/machined/gunmetal or whatever ones really work in my eyes.

But done right, I think they work on B5's.

Oh, and the 18's weigh 21lbs, so that's a 7lb weight savings per wheel over stock.

some guy on here has a yellow A4 with the black/machines face 19" R8 wheels, god it looks like ass, I hate that color, and his brakes look absolutely puny.

If i was going to put R8 wheels on a B5, it would be:
-not yellow
-F&R BBK
-lowered
-18" not 19"
-silver, same as OEM.

and then it might look OK.

before i would go R8 wheels i would go for 3 piece (real or not, don't care) mesh/multi spoke wheels.
