purems.com has the hood strut for cheaper then a junkyard quoted me for, $45 I think ?

I also had the wiper problem, everytime I would use them, they would keep going on the intermittent setting, and I could hear the clicking under the dash, turned out to be a bad wiper relay contact. A new wiper relay contact should fix it. I also installed a switch for the wiper fuse and hid the switch under the kick panel, because it has happened once or twice in the two years after I had it fixed, and I got sick of stopping and turning off my car to reset them.

    Excellent!

There should be a DIY for the wiper relay...
