2000 S4 Guys only: Badge Poll

So, for the 2000 S4 guys only:

We have the traditional, historical S badge, did you keep the original or did you change to the newer badge? Is it sacriligious to change from the sleeper badge to the newer "flashy" one?

I put the newer one.. i just like the way it looks although i did keep and shinny up the old one just in case... really depends on your taste.

For the record that badge came on 2000's and early 2001's as i have the same badge.

The upgrade badge is from the 2001.5 - 2002

i like the older badge better but personally i'd switch the grill to rs4 mesh and go badgeless

It's your car and personal preference. Do what you will. I like the original S badge myself. And as mentioned, it's on early 2001's as well along with the speedo emblem.

I kept the old one just so that I can confuse people when I pass them. I'm sure they have trouble recognizing what kind of car it is. Thats funny to me.

I have the RS4 grille just because it just looks of better quality than the old grille.

so bluntly pointed out by my girlfriend the other night...

i'd assume most people see the new badge and just see the 4 and think.. hmm.. must be a fancy A in front of it ..

i kept the original... i think it keeps a sleeper look because people that dont know audis dont know the older badges but thats my opinion, you should just do what you think looks better

I had the original on, thought about taking it off, but too many people couldnt tell it was an S4 so i left it on. Their loss.

I wouldn't spend money on a badge unless I somehow HAD to replace mine. In that case I would get the cheaper one, or might not put a badge at all.

You mean with the older badge it's harder to tell what it is.....right? The newer badge is a big "S" and a big "4", not exactly a subtle hint.
