    Still having problems....

    Ive got my cel, epc, and esp lights on, changed out my coilpacks and the made the car idle fine, but when i give it gas, it doesnt rev up, only like 300 rpms.anyone know whats up. i know it would be easyer if i could VAG the car ut i dont have it. thanks

    all of them being on at the same time means something, i just don't remember what.
    anyone near you that might have vagcom? i woudl help you out but NH isn't all that close to you.

    try the regional forums and see if anyone local woudl do a scan for you.
    vagcom is a great tool, well worth the $249- is costs. I have my cable permanently routed under the dash to the passenger seat where i run the laptop.

    I called a local audi shop, and they said i mights have to get my throttle body reset or something like that?

    don't know if a throttle body alignment will fix that or not, but but it is worth a try if you can find someone with vagcom.

    i've never done a TBA on mine, i guess it wouldn't hurt...

    for a TBA all u have to do is:

    while ur car is off floor the throttle and hold it down

    turn the ignition on(but don't start it) and hold it for 8 sec.

    turn key off and count to 5 and remove ur foot

    keep key in ignition for 2 minutes and ur done.

    Well the car runs fine now, went back in and tried to start it and started no problem, the esp and epc lights are now off, the only light still on is the cel, have to get that scanned. thanks for all the help guys
