Anyone do a widebody yet? If someone has seen one before online or in wherever, post up some pics... I think it would be hot, however cant imagine its body lines in my head.... someone make one!! lol

well i can see a wider flare like the OSIR front fenders, and a beefed rear quarter panel...
nothing too crazy tho. i think hatches look weird all wided out other then aggressive fenders

True, I was just trying to find a B7 Avant Widebody pic, but couldnt find one, cause it would look fairly similar, nothing too extreme, otherwise it would look bad. I havent seen a car in person yet with the osir fenders on it.

I believe it was on fourtitude or on the osir website they were showing al there products on the A3 the fenders and quarter panels making it a wide body

nah they just have a front fender to my knowledge
...with some ugly z3-esque vents im not into
wanna say they are 10-15mm

id widen my rear quarter panel before i touched my fronts

Funny that you brought up this topic because Adam and I was talking about it on Sunday. I've looked into this and the cost for paint/install would easily exceed part cost. I rather slap a SC in my engine but that's just me.

fully agree
after disassemble, material, fab, body work, and paint
then all the all the cracking and imperfections that will arise in the future
your out big bucks

seems most these guys either work at, own, or are bffs with a bodyshop that does these big projects...avg joes are screwed

another thing id like to do maybe is pull my fenders like i did on my dub. minor adjustments to fenders can really widen the look. mm's on my wheels have the same effect so i really think a fender addition or tweak would do the job

I did mine with no real body work knowledge. Just use the right products and you will be fine. I have never worked at a body shop. I did all the work in my garage.
