B6 Blacked out grille & Audi Emblem

I finally made the move this weekend and blacked the grille out.... and the audi emblem!



She's a little dirty from the snow we had

I need to do that. I'll probably keep the rings silver though. What's on your headlights?

I appreciate the input, there is a DIY i used from the forums HERE

Basically bought 2 cans of plasti-dip spray paint (black obvi) and used a flat head screw drive to pop out hood grill. Lower grill pops out pretty easily, use the flat head once again with a rag around the tip. I coated 3-4 times

take some real fine grit sandpaper now and sand the audi rings until they dont shine anymore and its gives it a nice brushed aluminum finish just like the rear strip on the trunk. had mine painted black stripped it back to chrome look now brushed aluminum. looks great imo

Everyone, enough. This post was originally to show you his grill/emblem mods. Not his lights. He obviously put the eye brows on there because they looked good to him. So leave it alone!

Take really fine grit sandpaper and sand the rings until the chrome (shine) is gone. It will look very dull. Just be careful not to sand to much cause you can go through to the crap plastic underneath.

I was looking into getting a grille, but if all I need is a cleaner and this DIY I'm down as a clown...

my grille itself is pretty old looking/faded, so if this cleaner really can make it look like ^^^ im stoked
