S4 B5 Alcantara SEATS in 1999.5 A4 ?

I have a chance to purchase some S4 B5 Alcantara SEATS .....the only problems is I have a 1999.5 A4 **NON-POWERED** Seats (driver)

If I bought these how would I move my driver seat....since I have a non powered driver's side seat. Would I be screwed?

buy the wiring harness with it, run it to the front, throw a fuse where it would need to go and your good to go

its a BIG hassle to replace a4 non-powered to s4 seats

doesnt mean you shouldnt do it. It will take some time but the result will be worth it. Im sure there is a write up somewhere. And you should do ettt!

My car had non powered, which were replaced with powered. I believe all you have to do is run some power to it with some decent guage wire. I also have heated seats but those aren't hooked up yet. I need a relay and a nice looking switch for that.

This is what i got so far: you will see there is only 1 front mounting point in the middle on your a4 seats, where the bracket is welded to the floor. you will need to weld 2 nuts to the 2 corners so the s4 seats can be bolted down

lets say someone who has power heated seats bought a set of S4 seats which were heated/power... would that be a relatively easy swap?

if the a4 had a power driver seat, it will bolt right up, but the manual pass seat will need the nuts welded.

its 2ez to do. Weld a stud in the hole, cut away the mount for the a4 non powered seat, and splice the wires for power to the seats. Run a 15amp fuse for each seat.

You can take the covers and padding off the seats and transfer them onto your A4 seats.

I was going to put those same seats on my A4 but it was too much of a hassle so I sold them.

i did it in my a4, not that hard at all. Stock mounting points are already cut in the floor (holes) it took me like 4 hours to take the old out and put the new in. Where your non powered seats are mounted (middle) u need to cut that out with like a grinder, that was the only "crazy part"

I saw those last Friday on Craigslist Paul but after hearing bout what it takes to swap I said F it. Plus I gotta stop throwing so much money on the A4 so I can finally get the S4. Good deal on em but not worth my time and $
