    New Guy and R8 Mods

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    Hi To You All

As a new owner of 2 months I just came across this site yesterday and it seems a treasure chest of info.

I am wondering if any R8 owner has installed a Revo Ecu(or any other) and a Milltek Non Res exhaust.

Would very much appreciate any thoughts or comments on the above mods.

    Thanks

    Welcome to the site

We should have the Revo tomorrow.
    The Miltek is already installed.
I will keep you posted. For now the Miltek sounds great.

    Aussie R8? Wow.

What's the bill on that down there? I think the Aussie dollar is about 1.3 to 1 USD...this should be terrifying.

RRP on a Manual R8 down is 277k (Aus)

I was fortunate? with mine and negotiated a discount of approximately 10%

FYI a Revo upgrade costs $2400 and a Milltek exhaust(non res)is $4600....all in Aus dollars.

We are going to Dyno the R8 with the Milltek before we do the Revo.
I will keep you posted though.

We have a few R8 owners down under and they are not cheap. Still worth it!

Re: New Guy and R8 Mods

You should check out the Capristo exhaust system for the R8. We sold on to a poster on here GR8GHOST, and it sounds sick. PM me for more info if you'd like.

    Thanks KevinS4

Very much appreciated that you will keep us updated. It is very difficult to find any R8 owners opinion of the Revo and or Milltek after installation.

By the way I might have missed it but have you installed a Res or Non Res Milltek

Thanks...and hungry for any more info.

    We installed the non-res exhaust.
