Vogtland Sports or H&R race? with billy sports

Well iv decided im going with bilstien sport struts and now im deciding on springs. Reason im still hesitant on both are..

-our cars handle better with sport springs iv heard
-race springs might be to low for my liking and to stiff
-race springs might throw off camber and cause unwanted excessive tire wear
-vogtland might not be low enough
-dont want to deal with rubbing or rolled fenders well in the future with 235/245/18's
-lowered cars to a certain point past 1.5 inches iv heard puts more stress on suspension parts and maybe i dont want that..

my car is on average 27.30 inches from ground to fender right now on stock blown shocks. If i want to be in the ballpark of 25.5-26, then shouldnt i probably get race springs? Because the vogtland sports only drop the car 1.4 inches, ill be right around 25.9 inches. But if i were to put h&r race and drop it 1.9 in front and 1.4 in the rear ill be around 25.4 in front and 25.9 in back, does that seem better? I have seen tons of pictures but I am really just contemplating these 2 set ups.

MY GOAL IS TO HAVE LIKE 1-2 FINGER GAP. And look lower then normal sport but not super slammed. Im being picky i know.

Just to let you know......the H&R sport/race springs are the same for both the 2.8 and 1.8T so the front will be lower than it would be on the 1.8T.

However, I think I remember when I was researching my suspension options that they worked well for the 2.8 and some ppl thought it sat too high in front with the 1.8.

IMO go with the Bilstein/Vogtland combo, I was in the same position as you and found that this was one of the best spring/shock combos. Almost got them, but pulled the trigger on the coilovers.

I have h&r race on my 1.8t and it sits a little too high for my liking in the front but the rear looks perfect. So the front may be what u want ride height wise.

thanks for the info on those things man that helped me out a good bit, you pretty much just let me know that sport springs arent high at all. I was thinking that reg sport springs would def be to high but i think ill be fine with the vogtland/billy sport combo. Since its 1.4" drop all around. It will be slammed nicely in back and maybe a 2 finger gap up front.

BTW, i think the h&r sport is 1.25 in front and 1.0 in back. Is it 2 finger gap for the front and back? Pics?

yea man ill def post pics, im gunna order these babies tomorrow morning and hopefully have the suspension and alignment done by the weekend of the 20th. So just a few more weeks.

O BTW me and my friend finished the buffing job on my car today, clay bar, wet sand, compound, polish and wax, never thought my 11 year old paint could look so good. real pics coming soon.
