Which is the true AWE Quad Tip Exhaust Sound?

I'm just looking at these two clips on youtube and hoping that people who actually have the quad tips chime in to say which clip their car sounds like more.

Clip 2 sounds perfect to me, but that sound seems edited for richer deeper tones.

I think the car on the first video is their BT car. The second one is an independent.

I know that it is louder than the APR and that's why I'm going with the AWE!

The car in the first video is mine. The sound quality isn't that great because i just took a quick vid on my digital camera. It's a tip tronic, so in the video I only have the cat-back exhaust system with stock Cat and downpipe at the time. I believe in AWE's video that is a full turbo back exhaust with their high-flow Cat. My car actually sounds different in person, it has a deeper sound....I just put the testpipe on it and it sounds amazing...it is pretty loud but i love the sound. As for the cabin noise, it does have a bit of drone, but i really don't mind it when I'm sitting in the driverside or passenger seats. If you sit in the back of the car you can hear a lot more drone but, it's only loud when you are the accelerating. When your cruising it isn't that bad. But for the most part its all about what your personal preferences are. Overall the Cabin noise is not unbearable so if you don't mind a bit of drone than you'll be fine.

Immensely. I wasn't insinuating that your exhaust note was not desirable. It sounded pretty rugged and the sound was much closer to the exhaust tips so I figured that more crunch was coming through. I was just trying to see which is closer to the sound that you would hear live and in person. When i heard the AWE video (video 2) I almost fell out of my chair cause it sounded sooooo good. I wanted more videos, but youtube only had 3 videos of the AWE Quads and the 3rd one (which i didn't even list in my original post) wasn't helpful at all.

I'm also considering the Stasis exhaust as well, since I hear it's much like the AWE, with less drone, although AWE put out the fix mesh inner lining (whatever that is) to reduce drone. I'm not prepared to deal with a lot of cabin noise though, not matter how sweet that sound is. I may end up with Stasis after much deliberation.

I wish I could somehow get some Stasis exhaust owners to chime in on their setup... is the stasis exhaust kit turbo back with high flow cat?

I put the AWE and asked my GF who has no knowledge of cars and doesn't care about my car if she thought the exhaust was loud. She said no and I was shocked cuz I could tell that it was louder but she had no idea. That made me very happy.

Don't get me wrong I love the exhaust but the drone is getting kinda annoying now. Over winter break I'm going to send the tips back to have the drone fix put in, hopefully it will make enough of a difference.

i have the awe on my car and i think it sounds more like the AWE car. The home made video is a little quiet. For all of you guys thinking about getting the exhaust, i highly recommend it. It sounds amazing. There is some cabin noise, but it is not annoying at all... it truly has a good rumble to it.

Also, if you are worried about the cabin noise -- I am able to have conversations with whoever is in the car when driving by the rules.

The only thing i noticed, is it is a little quiet when it is really cold, and then when it warms up (or if it is just a warm day) it is pretty loud.
