    good experiance with wiper blades

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
right now i'm running triaco's (i think thats how its spelt) and i'm thinking trying the budget wal-mart hingless blades, not the rainX ones.
I used them before and they worked well, but didn't seem to last too great, and i'm not forking out the money for icons.

    anyone got recommendations?

I'm probably going to try longer wipers too.

I know you don't want to pay for icons but I had a set on my TT for nearly 2 years and they still worked good.

still need a set for the S4. maybe for christmas...

I just picked up the brand new ones by Armor All. They have a silicone wiper blade instead of rubber and are actually guaranteed for 2 years.

Expensive though, $26.99 each at Cdn Tire.

Re: good experiance with wiper blades

I been running Bosch wipers for yrs. until one day i decided to test my pricey Bosch vs a pretty cheap RainX wiper

During my test i used 1 Bosch(left wiper) vs and 1 RainX(right wiper) and to my surprise after 1-2 months of periodic rain, the Bosch was getting all worn out and wasn't doing it job and the RainX was far superior

i love my Bosch Icons. They are amazing wipers. Much improved over the stockers I had. They dont make any helicopter or annoying squeaking sounds even if the window is dry!

I even got laughed at by the guys at PartSource for paying so much for wipers haha!

You should have a close look at the blade and perhaps try cleaning them carefully, that might be the only issue. I've certainly seen it before.

I found a Part Source in Scarborough that could order them (called around)...think it was the Brimley & Sheppard location, not sure though. Something in the $55 CDN range or so.
