Did stg3 build, installed southbend stg3 clutch rs4 PP, put engine trans back in car only to find out that the self adjusting mechanism on the clutch needs to be set. Do I need to pull the trans off to check it or leave it. The car is back together other than putting fluids in. Thanks

Come on man, you know this. If it isnt adjusted right, you run the risk of not being able to engage the clutch all the way

I had a clutch put in, then taken out for another reason. The shop that did the second repair found that the first shop had not set the adjusters before the install. They said it would have worn out within 600 miles without being adjusted correctly.
