    Vibrant does make nice tips.

I did what you want to do with my Milltek, but with oval tips. Basically the same mod.

Is a pita to get them just right, but its worth it.

Re: where can I get quad tips for my STaSIS exhaust ??

    They are:
    Inlet Diameter: 2.25"
    Outlet Size: 5.5" x 3" Oval
    Overall Length: 7.5"

Welding cost was about 100$ since I had to redo one of the tips.

Lets say you like this ones:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Exhau...QQcmdZViewItem

    They measure:
    Inlet Diameter: 2.25"
    Outlet Diameter: Dual 3.5"
    Overall Length: 10"

A common misconception is that you just slap them on. For them to have that oem look, you must cut the back of the tips, bend the exhaust and hangers, and have them welded very carefully.

Dont get discouraged, it sounds more complex than it really is.

Re: where can I get quad tips for my STaSIS exhaust ??

the caveat with adding quad or the vibrant ovals (which is what I did) is that the exhaust cut out of the 2.0 single tip is further out toward the side of the car than the S4 cutout, so you have to angle the last part of the pipes toward the middle of the car to fit the tips through the required S4 valence, bringing the hot pipes closer to the heat shield around the underside of the spare tire well (not especially advisable), and this gives them a look that they're angled toward the middle of the car, not straight out. As the gentleman above experienced, my muffler guy spent a long time trying to make this work, fabricated new sections of pipe, but 2 appointments into it (and he's good!) it still is angled a bit. If you're looking for total perfection, keep that in mind. It still looks pretty good however. I'm going back to him at some point and seeing what else he might be able to do.

Would love to hear if anyone else has found a better solution, besides a $1000+ loud replacement for the exhaust, which, yes, I would like (but the wife wouldn't).

Re: where can I get quad tips for my STaSIS exhaust ??

Bryan, there was a guy with an 08 Ibis on here a while ago who posted picks of quad-tips that he welded on to his stock mufflers. I can't remember the brand but they looked perfect! I did a quick search but couldn't find the thread. I think the guy was in FL and had a red B6 A4 that he gave to his daughter. Maybe someone here remembers and can pull the thread.
