out of region but whatever...
1 to 1+ is a big difference imo. I went stock -> GIAC -> GIAC FX (injectors) on my USP.
Stock: well, u know it sucks. powerful enough to get around but not with any urgency.
Stage 1: car felt stronger all over. even off idle. but after a few days it quickly became apparent that the power is very limited and localized. basically you get a massive rush (torque/boost spike) at 3000rpm, but it dies off very quickly. so 2500-3000rpm felt like strong acceleration, but even by 4000rpm the boost was dropping off and high rpms were still pretty useless. boosted ~15psi but would only hold 13 and was back to 10 at redline.
Stage 1+: similar to stage 1, except the torque is much stronger. spike at 3000rpm was at ~21psi, and it held at ~18psi to 5500rpm. So it was immediately noticeable that the car boosted more at the spike, but what really shines is that power holds from 3k-5.5k rpm. So rather than a brief surge of power, the power would surge and hold for a while. Boost still tapers near redline. KO3 just gets winded.
In time Stage 1+ get boring though. You find that having power only between 3000-5000rpm kinda sucks. If you daily drive it and aren't trying to race people it is plenty of power. But its still slower than most V6 cars and a handful of 4cyls. But due to the turbo and torque, it feels much quicker than it is.
Go stock -> 1+. stage 1 is a waste of time, if you disagree, you will change your mind after going 1+.
