    prob a dumb question-(instrument cluster)

    anyway to turn off the LCD screen?(display screen) I had a B5 and I could do this by pressing the button the side of the wipers--

    Have you tried the reset button on the bottom of the wiper stalk? It toggles different views and brings up a menu.

    Not possible on our b7, you can however change brightness of the cluster by pressing the (+/-) buttons.

    You can turn off the top third of the screen
