basically my car was in a n accident 2 months ago, still at the audi shop.. taking their sweet as time.. basically my suspension was messed up.. my wheel caved it.. bending all sorts of sexy objects.. according to them.. they had to take my dash out to replace my steering column or someshit.. which was bent into the firewall... suspension.. control arms..tie rods..etc etc.. my fender and two doors as well..and i got s4 door blades added for free, jus cus i can.. NOW once uve read all that useless info... they're about to paint everything.. door blades, fender and doors.. does winter have an effect on new paint?.. does it cure fast?.. im in canada, its a harsh winter.. i know not to wash the car right away bla bla.. but snow/ice settles on the car..

id try to keep it out of the snow and ice if you can, although a car cover with snow on top of it might be just as bad, when mine got painted they said not to even wax it for 6 months, id think a fabric cover with the weight of the snow would have about the same effect as rubbing it with wax?

any decent paint shop will be doing the painting in a temp controlled environment and then 'baking' the paint to cure it. 90% of full cure is done at this point, but temp will effect the full cure point. the "don't buff it for a month" rule is to keep from hurting paint during this final step and it is a pretty generous length of time for most areas, temps etc. winter in canada will lengthen that time, but should still be fine for driving etc. if you have a garage, i'd park it in there, maybe you have a car cover? try to be as gentle on it as possible with driving through snow and ice.

Tint always looks darker on black cars, especially with black interior such as my car. 15% and you can barely see in day or night.

They should be checking all the mechanical and electrical components before it leaves the shop you could ask to have them pull the codes to ensure everything is clear and ok before you drive away and get a cel or have issues.
