    HELP coilover adjustment needed

so i need help with my coilovers. I just recently bought a 2001.5 S4 with some mods already done, including my H&R coilovers. The car has aftermarket 17 in wheels on it, but i have a set of 18x7.5 volk TE-37 with 225/40 tires mounted. the car sits way too low for the volks to fit without adjusting. im selling the 17's to a buddy, so i need to raise the car a good 1.5 inches or so. i read a thread on it, but i tried adjusting one f the rears and it is stuck. i sprayed pb blaster on the collars and am currently waiting for it to set. anyone have any suggestions, or should i take the car somewhere to have them adjsuted and the wheels fitted? also, im on the east coast and dont have a garage or air tools. thanks a lot for any help.

Raising/lowering CO's is very simple, as long as you have the two wrenches needed......

If you can't figure it out, I would suggest taking it somewhere that knows what they are doing

comming for east coast cars to be a pain to adjust. all the dirt and grime gets between the colars and will make it almost impossible to adjust. you have to make sure that the trhreads are super clean. you might tap the adjusters with a hammer to help break them loose. If all else fails you have to remove them to get a better had at them.

I uses Boeshield T9 on mine. The product was designed by boeing to protect metal surfaces from corrosion and it is also a penetrant. After you spray it on the carrier evaporates and leaves a "waxy" film for protection. I have been using this product on my and my clients big race boats for years and it always seems to do the job. Not sure where you can buy it retail but I would look in shops specializing in rigging for sailboat like www.apsltd.com

    Cheers,
