Question [PIC] The squeaking armrest is killingme, anyone know how to solve it?

The arm rest is making the plastic squeaking sound every second in my life!

I really wanna get rid of it, but since i drive manual, i still want some support while not shifting.

Anyone get an idea of how to elimite the noise?

I tried to lubricate it, but, haha, it's plastic......
ya don't have to read the following:

Sometimes I don't think Audi is doing the right thing on their products, just like this SMALL PLASTIC arm rest, and the outside black unpainted plastic door trim for titanium package, even though we paid extra money for it and many ppl like it, but I gotta say, it's inferior. Speaking of the door trim, bmw 's sport package's black painted door trim is something made with design and effort.

My pic after getting a better camera :)
If I get advice that can solve the problem, I will learn to use my new camera and take a better picture for you guys. so HELP ME

The armrest is an annoyance for me too, hopefully there is an upgrade somewhere out there. Anyone got some good scoop on this?

Rub goat urine on the plastic.

It's 'cause the two little plastic tabs that sit outside the latch on the lid itself may have broken off. My friend had his replaced under warranty. I noticed mine squeaking and also found one tab in the storage part and the other one barely hanging on.

Or you could try the goat urine.
