Comparison video between Modded 335 and stage 3- s4

this is a run between my friends 335xi with dual cone intake and a jb3 chip vs a stage 3- s4 with k03 tune and stock SMICs. dont mind what i said in the ending i meant to say k03 tune lol. i let off on the last run due to cars but as u can see he was getting me on top end

FYI: If you are not running a true Stage 3- software, which is usually done with an addition of a 5 bar FPR (AWE & EPL, I think VAST as well), you are not really stage 3-. In other words, you are only a very "strong stage 2+ S4" because running K04s with K03 file will only give you a very marginal gain in power, if any at all. Plus, by running the larger turbos on a K03 file, you will also experience a greater turbo lag.

In that case, had you been a true Stage 3- car, judging from the video, you should be able to kill your friend's 335xi with little difficulty.

this may or maynot be related to the noise but what fuel system are you running and my guess is with the ko3 file, esp. with no fpr your leaning out really bad which might relate to the noise on the turbo because its not getting enuff fuel and is probably burning hot in there, throwing nuthing but extremely hot air through those stock sidemounts..just think tea kettle ..i dunno i could be wrong but i wouldnt be racing anyone till i got that taken care of...and where from/were you racing in CT??

Your turbos sound like mine...I also ran GIAC stage 1 on K04's for a while as well. My turbo's boosted just fine up until the latter end of its days when it would only hit/hold 18psi. When I pulled the motor, the compressor wheel was fubar'd.

Not true at all.

You can do the same thing with tweaked K03 software, an MBC, and a TCD. It just takes time to setup.
