I probably posted this question on wrong section, so try this section--Thanks everyone.

    2002 A4 3.0L with 56K(miles).

There were couple issues happened before it was stalled. Everthing happened with 20 to 30 mins from home to highway.
At first, heat did not work and then entered into highway at the speed about 50miles for 2mins, coolant light came on right before it stalls. All electronics were working but It won't start after that and it need to be towed to dealer.

I'm not looking for DIY, just want to get some idea OR What to expect?

    Coil pack???

    Thanks

I did, it was too dark for to see, no flashlight. There was a burning smell for sure. The coolant light came on and last less 5 seconds before it stalls. There were no signs before that expect the heat was not working(blowing only cold air) and just happened tonight.

What kind of burning smell??? If you smelled sweet burning smell that is the sign that you were burning coolant, so was it sweet smell or smell of oil burning??

Don't really remember, but more like the smell of oil burning.
What are outcomes for either one?

    Thanks

Only reason why I asked what kind of smell it was because you said coolant light came on. The coolant light came on probably because it was low or leaking. If you smell sweet burning smell that is the sign your burning coolant. But since you told me that it was more like oil burning, I'm not quite sure since i can't diagnois the vehicle without looking at it.

what was the coolant gauge doing? my guess would be a coolant leak (if level is low), thermostat, or water pump failure.
