Those that know about interior lighting....Xenon or LED?

Title pretty much sums it up. Thinking of replacing the interior bulbs. I know it will look cleaner with either one, but not sure which one would be better. Whatcha think?

Mine's all led....... there's no issues with 'bulb out warnings' and you can go with what ever color takes your fancy




I've also got blue 'ambient lights' in the top console - but no photos!

I'm thinking about going with some LED's. I just haven't been able to find any that I really like yet.

It would be nice if they just made a kit to swap it all out with.

i have the xeon look, i should of went with leds. i've had a few bulbs already blow on me

All my interior lamps have been replaced with festoon LED's, or in the case of the map lights - 501 wedge LED's - all in blue.....

Also changed out all the interior bulbs for LEDs. No issues. White LEDs. Looks very nice!
But when it's dark it looks like a operationroom inside my car.....

guys that have the leds...can you tell me which leds you used in the interior....i'm talking about the led size or type....i think/hope i asked the question correctly..kinda confused myself

I love the LED look, I went with red. They arent really bright, but if I need light the visor lights are plenty bright. I got mine from http://www.superbrightleds.com/

you need:
4- BA9s 4-LED Bayonet Base bulb (2 sets of small square lights, 2 in front 2 in back)
4- WLED 5-LED Wide Angle LED bulb (foot wells, 2 in front 2 in back)
2- 3910-x6 LED Festoon bulb (two large lights near sunroof)

same place I bought them...great lights,I got the white ones and it looks very good compared to the stock ugly yellowish ones..its easy to install make sure you put some tape on the small screwdriver to prevent scaring of the interior when popping the covers..

Hey - i had Xenon's and they pretty much suck. Get the LED's - they are sooo much brighter. They blind people at night when they get in hehe
