Official: Mountain Creek Snowboard/GTG day

Seeing as there is popular talk about mountain creek in the vermont thread we should also plan several GTG's at MC also. Preferably weekdays would be better than the weekends... I work at mountain creek so I can try to get us a discount on anything we need. Also we do have new equipment for rent so 1st timers are welcomed too... I also saw the layout for the park this year its gonna be good. So post up ideas of days and such...

I do when I tune my boards. Cleans the shit off the base prior to hot-wax.

Nah its there wax brand they use... I kinda like it ill get my board tuned then leave it in my car as an air freshener ... I will talk to my boss and group sales and see what kind of package I can come up with...

We also need to decide are we hitting up the park at south or just riding at North.. my vote is for south but thats just me (you can ride around if your not comfortable on rails/jumps).

It could be their iron-on wax only, if that's the case.

The "machine wax" doesn't have that scent.

I have also had that big machine grind/wax-- doesn't have that scent either.

I'm gonna have to pull some strings so I can go this week...

I used to like South/Bear until they turned it into a terrain park....

Vernon: I hate the Gondola. Rather be sitting on the Triple Chairs
Granite: has always been pretty good to me. Need to master Pipeline.

yeah man so beat I did get turned away.. I wasnt even aware that we werent allowed on the mountain.. Im really kinda pissed about it the snow looked great no ice and your right it wasnt crowded at all.

its pretty easy at creek with in the past 2 years they have built progression boxes which might be max 6inches above the snow... so easy to learn on.

i was at creek today... it was funn conditions were great... they had jus one trail open but it was still fun... they had like 9 boxes/rails and one hip... def a good time... i ride mostly park so i am at creek often... let me know when u guys wanna meet up there.. also Jack frost/big boulder in blakeslee,PA is a good place for us to go! saw a hot white b7 avant with colorado plates, a white b5 a4 and black b7 a4 with NY plates.. a few wrxs,sti,evos... but yea let me know when u guys r down...

ha, I was there from around 3-7:45 when the lights stopped working and they shut it down, didn't see your car there. I was in my buddys car though. Conditions were alright, def. wasnt bad for the first day and no real snow. Although I could hardly consider that hip a "hit" haha. By chance were you with a kid Tab if you know him? I know hes down by forked river area.

I'll be up there tomorrow to if anyone will be there PM and we'll meet up or somethin.

i am down. Might go up tonight. Sore and sick from last weekend at hunter so we will see. My boy just got a agent and i want to ride it. Cracked the tip of my banana skate first day out Hunter had a couple rails/hits but nothing crazy.

Supposed to be 11 hits up for today. Unfortunately employees aren't permitted until monday to snowboard... so my Audi won't be present 'till then, but I will be there everyday... just like every other year.

i drove my truck up there.. i have a white f150 with a beige/goldish strip along the bottom and neff,lost,& grenade stickers on back window..so if you see me say watup....

and that sucks that u broke ur bananna board..those r exxpensive.. i jus bought another board while i was up a creek.. 156 forum youngblood..half price! got it for 200$ score.. so i need to get another set of bindings cuz i wanna throw a set on my 153 burton dominant (which i currently ride) and use that for street and whenever i wanna use it...anyone selling bindings?

If you guys come out to Jack Frost/Big Boulder, I'm in. I live right down the street. Blue Mountain aint bad either. There are some real fun roads back in there as well. Could make for a great day.

i was at blue mt. yesterday....ill be stayin at jack frost mountain dec. 30th to jan 5th we should meet up and ride... i might take my subs out of my trunk and take my car up..depends if theres gonna be snow up there or not... my f-150 is only rear wheel drive... audi FTW in snow...either way we should meet up and ride.. ill be at boulder every day that week.. might hit blue one of the days

It was "okay" today. Supposed to get rain tonight so whoknows what'll look like come Wednesday.

Also FYI, i've heard they've been having electrical problems, so yesterday & today they closed at 4:15pm.
