Eurojet PCV Fix Installed [PIC Update]

Well, I wasn't really sure if my PCV had gone or not, but my MPG sucks and I never feel like I have enough boost , so I figured I'd give Eurojet's inexpensive fix a shot.



Install was slightly a bitch, PCV itself had to come off so I could get the Eurojet hose far enough on it. Overall not that bad, certainly a good Saturday evening project.

Driving Impressions: Too early to see any improvement in MPG due to heavy right foot application. Boost in 2nd holds much better, before it would just kinda end at 12 but now rockets to about 16. This is with GIAC chip btw. Higher gears seem solid as well (around 23 peak). So if you're in doubt about that pesky PCV while running higher boost settings, give this a shot.

i was the first b7 to have the eurojet pcv fix... once i put around 25k miles on it and i then blew another pcv valve... there is another fix that just came out from bsh which includes a catch can... i will post up pictures soon!!!

I thought the catch-can was for transverse fools only?

it was for the transverse only but i went over to the shop 2 weeks ago and we set it up and had all bracktes made so that it would fit out cars!!!

I need updates, I've had two PCVs go out...

Seems to be holding fine. Hard to measure peak boost with such cold temps, but mpg stick around 18 to 20.

On a side note, when you hold your ear up to the PCV, is it supposed to make that rattling sound?

I'm not sure about that sound, I think I'm going to buy the newest version PCV and the Eurojet hose and hopefully never deal with this problem again

I'll tell you that since mine was replaced at the dealership boost seems to hold longer and the feels like it pulls harder than it did even when I first got chipped. There also seems to be less surging. However, I'm not sure if that's PCV related or not.

I want to do all the little mods during spring break, and im wondering if i should do the Eurojet PVC hose.

I want to know why people do it and how do i no which PCV valve i have cause i might as well update it if i need to.

Nothing, it is just a much stronger version of the OEM version. Thats why the only fix that will fix it for good is the soon to be released BSH PCV fix

It probably is. If your check valve in the PCV is stuck open it means you are loosing boost back to your intake manifold & its not going into the engine. Some people have reported a loss of 2psi.

It will still be the most complete fix in my opinion.

Looks like one of those simple mods that is worthwhile, also fairly cheap. I might do it over my spring break. Like the sway bar.
