B7 S4 - MP3 CD's Not Playing, Help

Help Please!!!

Has anyone had problems with MP3 CD's not playing.

I feel stupid, maybe I'm missing something.

I put the MP3 CD in my CD changer and select CD as the Source, then that CD in the CD List. Nothing Happens.

I tried selecting MP3 as the source, but the only options after that are:
1. DVD
2. SD Card 1
3. SD Card 2

No CD option....

Regulars CD's play just fine....

Please Help Me...!!

i dont think the stock units read mp3 cd's...i know the b5 s4 ones dont.

Mp3 CD's might work in the actual nav unit if you take out the nav dvd. I never tried though.

Your dealer might have meant that you can put your mp3's on SD cards and play them that way. That you can definitely do.

Thanks VR2V8, It only works in the NAV DVD Rom....Which I find stupid, cause the NAV does not function without the NAV DVD.

So I will be using the SD Card Slots for MP3's!

That's the way to do it. Now you'll just have to deal with the MP3s on the SD cards, which can sometimes be a hassle.

why dont you just highlight a playlist and drag it over to the disk file?

I have 4GB cards. Make sure you don't get SDHC cards. They are not compatible. By the way, it's kind of hard to find 4GB non-SDHC cards.

I believe they are Transcend from newegg.com
