I have a chance to pick up a set of 4 in MINT condiditon for $300. Going on a silver 98 Sport. I figure these rims will give me an excuse to pick up a set of coilovers.

    Thoughts?

I'd do it in a heartbeat if they were 17"

I bought a set of OEM S4 wheels with 2 decent snow tires on them for $250.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't see ever spending money on a set of wheels smaller than stock sport wheels. ... NTM I can't use 15" wheels. My 16's are within 0.125" of my stick on wheel weights.

If you were on the west coast I would give you a set of 17x8 ATP sports really cheap, been sitting in my garage for the last 4 years.

I didn't know that was an option, good choice though.
