I just recently had my front done but under warranty and the reciept didn't say how much parts were. Labor at the stealership was $105 and hour. Ouch. Glad I didn't pay that. Sorry thats not much of a help.

just the regulator costs about 150 or so from the dealer. I've heard people say that the job would cost anywhere from 300 to 600 total. Theres a good DIY on the forum here and you can get the part for about a 100 bucks from genuinevwaudiparts.com
