    Question Need Some Help

    -Got my CEL fixed put in a new MAF sensor and no CEL

    but i have another problem with the car, when I am stopping or coming to a stop the car revs up randomly. the needle would be at 1 than rev up slightly when i stop than go back down again.This doesn't always happen either.

    its a 1999 Audi a4 1.8t tip

    When you are stopped, does it keep revving up and down, or is it just a one time thing?

    Either way, it is a intake leak somewhere.

    when i come to a stop it dosent rev up anymore. it just revs up as i am stepping on the brake

    definitely sounds like a leak somewhere... mine used to do the same thing before i found the slightly torn L Hose
