    bad pcv/pancake valve?

    Would a bad pancake valve like leak air from the TIP?

    If it is cracked it would allow unmetered air into the TIP.

    cracked on the inside? Do you mean out of the tip?

    When you say TIP do you mean the Turbo inlet Pipe? Because the TIP is always in a vacuum state which means if there is some type of leak on a part that is connected to it air would be sucked in.


    The Pancake valve just restricts how much pressure is sucked out of the crank case. If it isn't working correctly it will allow too much pressure to be sucked out and this could mean high amounts of oil vapor and even oil.

    no it shouldn't seeing that the oil pick up should be below the oil line.
