yea I heard about that on the Boston news last night. he even made the couple wait while he stopped another vehicle and wrote them a ticket first. made the woman show him her pregnant belly!!!!!! invasion of privacy much?!?!?! he even gave them a ticket, than sent them on their way to the hospital. cop must of had a abusive mother. fucking prick.

I'm thinking the neighbor is the asshat. He's the one that called it in. I know all of my neighbors cars in my neighborhood for about a dozen cars in each direction. If i saw one of their cars on the street on blocks, i would assume something was up, and if it was there for a while i would approach them about it.

I wouldn't be suprised if the black guy that called the cops is the resident neghborhood dickhead that calls the police for every little thing that happens. Hell i'd be willing to bet those too have had words over something in the past.

I'm still in shock, mabye it's me.. but I simply can not make my self retarted enough to induce the sort of stupidiy required to complete the thought process necessary to do that to almost any car, but espically one that obvisuly is so expensive. It would be one thing if it were some 15 year old accord.. but a brand spanking new car? It's pretty much the owners responsibility to check all laws and see if it's ok to park the car there without wheels, while sitting in the sir. Granted, the towing company shouldn't have treated the car that way, but she shouldn't have let it get this far. 5 days on the street....

1st, It doesn't matter how much the car is worth, I'd be pissed if I had a cheap 1982 honda and someone dragged it up a tow truck by the disks and undercarriage, it's just unneccesary
2nd, It's Washington DC...there are a lot of places without garages and where parking is on the street only, so she probably couldn't get it off the street...and it was sitting there because it had no wheels to roll it on, and it would take 5 days at least anyways to get a whole new set of wheels/tires
3rd, Completely agree that she will get the money now with all of the coverage, which is great because she should...plus maybe some new Alcons as interest

color is a descriptive adjective that, in this case, helps to distinguish one person from another. I would not be offended if someone called me a white person, and EVERY black person I know prefers to be called black as opposed to "African American".

How do you recommend she put it in a garage after her wheels were stolen? I understand what you mean about 'knowing the laws' and everything, but you expect some people to have common sense, I mean she left the police report in the windshield. The public hazard is the people running the flatbed.

The neighbor or The parking cop lady would have conveyed more than enough information about the players in this scenario and what their roles where in this poor woman's tragedy. Why does race always have to be dragged into the conversation? I'm far from perfect, but I try to be as colorblind as possible in my life.

I parked in a "Customers only" spot for a deli shop I was gonna shop at. But I had a call and got out of the car and walked around the place before I got in. When I got in and purchased what I wanted I came out and saw my car being towed! The b**** ass was standing next to the car when I got out and when he saw I didn't get in the deli shop right away he decided to tow my car? Unbelievable!!
