AZ Ski/Snowboard Trip Poll

It seems as though the majority of people want to go to snowshoe. So, to see how many people want to come and what dates work out best for all of us, please select the dates you would like to go.

If you can go on multiple dates, please select the dates that you are available. Please only fill out the poll if you are serious about going so that we can have a legitimate idea about how many people want to go. Remember that the housing is going to cost anywhere from $50-$100 plus you will need to purchase lift tickets for the days you want to ski/ride.

Also, I wanted to see how you all feel about bringing friends other than Audizine members, so I built that into the poll. I would say that we should limit friends to 1 or 2 so that this doesn't blow up too bad. Also, if anyone is willing to put the place on their credit card, please post that. Please post any other suggestions you might have!

I'll be moving down to NC first week of january and as you said you dont want to make to drive to snowshoe 2 weeks in a row so i voted the 23rd to the 25th. The 30th to the 1st would work for me as well.

Just did a property search for the 23rd to the 25th and found a 4 bedroom house for 1160 plus taxes, but not including lift tickets. The house is in either the hutches or westridge community if anyone is curious as to what its like.

We have interest from the Pittsburgh peeps. We're really trying to find pet-friendly stuff because most of us bring our dags to all G2G. Our dogs look forward to it as much as the people do.
We don't need to be on the mountain, especially with the dogs. There are a few rental cabins I know of and have stayed in within a few short miles to the resort entrance. One has lots of open fields for the dags to run. With a hot tub and all, it's a perfect place to party and eat on the cheap (no neighbors anywhere close), and if we really wanted to head up for apres ski stuff (which can get $$$ at Snowshoe), we'd still have that option. Even with the economy, the ski-in-ski-out places can get pricey. And with the animals, tough to get pet-friendly.
Not trying to take away from the planners of this thing at all; I'd actually figured you all had enough interest with what you had going that we'd be able to get our own place and meet up with everyone on the slopes. Plus, I think a few of us are pretty set on the dates and they may not line up with what this thread is choosing.

I'm still down. Should we confirm that we are going Jan 23-25? I voted for both the 23rd-25th and 30th-1st so that explains why there is one more vote than number of voters. Can anyone else go on the 23rd-25th that has not voted or is it only going to be 5 of us plus friends?

I was up there this weekend. The conditions were really good on Friday. There was still a little powder left from the previous few days of snow. Unfortunately, Saturday it was 38-40 degrees and rained all day. We tried to ride through it but it was way too miserable after a few runs.

I'm still down for a trip if someone wants to take the lead and put the place on their credit card...

On a side note, West Virginia roads suck. Whoever thought it was a good idea to put down stones instead of sand or salt needs to be shot. I picked up a bunch of rock chips on my hood, chipped the vinyl around my grille, and my red rings now have chrome spots. However, part of the blame could be placed on my friend with a Subaru and I setting land speed records and making it to snowshoe in 3 hours flat from Centreville.

^^ Hahahaha thats sounds awesome, there is some nice roads on the way up there for driving if you know them pretty well. Im probably out of the trip now guys, I just moved down to NC for school and dont even have a clue how long it would take to get to snowshoe.

If you can figure out how long it would take you to get to Radford/Virginia Tech, it's about 3 hours from there. I made that trip a lot when I was going to Radford, lots of fun roads too.

It takes roughly 4 hours to get to VT from the middle of NC
