    i have oem bluetooth in my car i had a motorola q from verizon no problem now i changed it to a motorola q9c (newer model) and now it connects and disconnects like every 30 seconds and the phone freezes sometimes its so annoying anyone with the same problem? ,i tested 2 other phones no problems could it be the phone or does the head unit need and update or something thanks!

    It is the phone. I had the same problem with a samsung and returned it and got a BB Curve and it doesn't do it. I tried it with the same samsung phone 3 different times calling t-mobile customer service and audi techs and they both told me it was the phone. if you call Audi they will give you a short list of phones that "work" that they have tried. I would return the phone and get a different one and before you leave the store make sure it works.

    It's definitely the phone. My Nokia N70 disconnects and reconnects all the time until I stopped using it. Not only that but the volume was so low I couldn't hear shit on the highway. I tried a Samsung phone and an IPhone both worked flawlessly. Time for me to get a new phone.
