Forge 004 bov

my friend just gave his old forge 004 bov, is it ok to run this on stock motor? Im just running an intake and testpipe right now. i kno its better to run a forge DV, but this was free

and does anyone kno how loud the 004 is? cause i dont really want to attract attention from the 5-0.

I had it for 6 months with no problems, car was running rich for a couple of days though.
Then i put back 007. But my mechanic IS against any kind of BOV's.

my tuner eurocode is against it too they said its pointless unless your running BT, they told me to get a forge dv 007 but hey i got this shit for free!!!!!!!!!!

and how does your test pipe sound on the stock exhaust?

Sounds good man, eurocode's testpipe is a solid 15hp gain, definately the best testpipe. Altho it does sound a little choppy on the stock exhaust because the 3" testpipe is going into a 2.25" opening on the stock exhaust. That change in backpressure causes it to sound a little choppy, but it definately is a must have.
