    head bolt sequence and torque specs

    i am gonna be bolting my head onto my block. i was wondering if anyone new the sequence and torque specs for the head bolts thanks

    tighten all of them to 40nm then go back and put 180 turn on all of them. They will come out to right around 90ft/lb.

    The pattern is like this

    10-4-2-5-7
    8-6-1-3-9

    You start in the middle then go outward switching sides diagonally. It doesnt matter what side you do first. That 1 could be where the 2 is and the 3, 4, 5, 6 can all be swapt if you understand what im saying. Just go from center outward switching sides as you go out but diagonally switching sides.

    I alway have torqued heads in a spiral pattern, starting in the center and rotating outward.
