GIAC J31 software help

Hey guys I got an ECU with J31 software installed for my K04 setup (my 2000), and my question is, will the GIAC flashloader work with the J31 file?

Is it a stock, pump gas, race, etc. file or is there just one setting?

Depends. Is it an actual chip/board or was it flash loaded?

Not sure, I just bought the whole ecu from a guy here who was selling a K04 kit, guess I could open it up and see.

If you have a vag-com cable then you could always download their software based flashloader and check it out. It's free so it's worth a shot if you already have the cable anyway.
