Re: $ Year End Repair Expenses $

Man, am I the only one who's got a small tally?
I bought the car in Sept 08... so maybe that's why. :P

    Here goes:
    New wipers - $25
DV replacement with 710Ns - $60 for two
    APR Chip - $465
Car care cleaning supplies - $100
    Fenders Rolled - $100
New turn signal bulb - $8/pair
Cruise control stalk replacement - $297 installed
OEM rims for winter (no tires) - $220, set of 4

    Grand Total: $1275
Holy Jesus. I honestly had no idea that it was going to tally that much. Good thing I just put away a couple hundred every month for the "S4 Fund". Most of that was preventative maintenance... in a laundry list of things that I want to do. Oi.

I keep track of all my expenses in an Excel spreadsheet. Just for my stage III upgrade I'm at about 7.5K (including a full built tip tranny). And the expenses keep rising. I haven't driven my car in more than a month (doing all my own labor) but I'm sure it will all be worth it in the end.

I might not have you guys beat when it comes to performance mods, but maintenance and repairs, I own you all. I have receipts of over $9300 in repairs and maintenance alone, not to mention the Stage 3. Just before I hit the F'ing POTHOLE, my slider and synchros are on the way out and my car is totaled. Try and beat that!
