well i hit a deer last week and i was gonna try to pop out the dent as best i could until i can find a replacement silver around the twin cities

i know its not going to be perfect by any means but i bet i can atleast make it look better than it does right now.

anyone removed just their fender before? its really snowy here right now so i havent had time to go look it over to see what im all going to have to do

that being said im going to be going to a shop tonight to work on it in the heat, but i dont want to fart around for an hour just to take it off

any recommendations from people who have done this before?

    thanks a lot

    Re: fender removal

Yes its pretty simple to pull the fender.

    1. Remove the wheel well liner
    2. 1 bolt in the door jam
    3. 2 bolts at the bottom of the fender near the door
    4. 2 bolts up under the fender facing the door jam
    5. 1 bolt behind the bumper
    6. a few bolts up top in the engine bay

My driverside fender is sitting in my spare room if you need me to take pics of the bolt locations

    Re: fender removal

Sorry this is the passenger side fender, the driverside one is in the garage.

Lower point just behind the wheel

    Door jam side

2 that are mid point near the door jam, have to get to them from the wheel well side.

Under the bumper, have to remove the bumper to remove these bolts

Top ones can be seen when the hood is open.

    Re: fender removal

As a result of jacking improperly, the two bolts at the bottom were an absolute bitch to get out.. I had to drill them out. Getting them back in was significantly easier.
