    Water Pump?

I'm going to be replacing my timing belt in the next couple of weeks. I figured I'd stop by the dealership and price out the parts from them. Turns out it is about the same price as going through 034, Blau, ESC, etc.

My concern is that the factory Audi water pump still uses the plastic impeller. Its seems strange that Audi hasn't upgraded their pumps to the metal impeller type if this is a weak point. Your thoughts?

Put a metal impeller pump in. You can get them and most places should be stocking the metal impeller pumps.

    Do not accept plastic.
