Ok well you know we have those little audi emblems under the side markers that were taken off on the later 98 models if im not mistaken, maybe just after 1997 not sure. Well i was thinking about painting the outside of the emblem black and leaving the "audi" lettering chrome. I think it would look clean but im not sure. I was wondering if anything knows how they are stuck on the car and how easy they come off. I didnt want to mess with anything before i knew what was keeping it on, Taking it off would look stupid becuase it would leave the indent but painting it all black i think would just look really tacky.

But just being able to see the letters would make it stand out less but would almost just look like a little "audi" decal. What do you guys think? Anyone seen anything like this...?

^^^^^^^^something like that, just did a little paint action real quick. of course i would get some nice oem black paint so it would match the car paint best as possible.

I think it looks good. And yeah 98.5 was the first without these.

i dunno I just painted mine to match the car. I think that looks better than having the audi logo on there. I wish I just didn't have them but, it could be worse. But thats what I would vote for.
