    Re: Part interchangablility

The only things that are really different AFAIK are the engine components from 96-98.5, and then from 98.5-01.... As fas as suspension and drivetrain it will all copy over except the spindles/wheel bearing/axles in the front, because at some point in 98 they switched to a bigger wheel bearing.

Body panels are all going to switch over, he could even get s4 body parts. The newer headlights/tails look a lot better than 98's.

    What parts does he need?

What parts do you need? We have 25+ dismantled A4's here at the shop

Either PM me, or check out the eBay store for stuff you need.

you should be able to grab those off of any year B5 A4. The hoods newer than 99.5 wont have the spray nozzles on the hood, i think that's the only difference...

A&P has all of that except for the front bumper. I will check the shop.

The only thing you need to be careful of is the doors. The doors changed with the facelift (99.5+) cars. The moldings (body side moldings, knee height) changed. It would look really weird if you didn't have all of them matching.

Right on. Pre 99.5 has smaller trim. We have the parts he requested in the small trim.

    Cheap parts

I know you know what you're talking about, I just wanted to put it out there for the people that are reading but not the OP.
