Test fit the cf DTM style spoiler...pics

cars a little dirty, but test fitted the cf trunk spoiler to see how it would look- im still thinking about painting parts of it..im even thinking about taking the tinted tails off..give me some feedback






^i had to add the last pic in, my favorite shot of the car to take (the right side of the HD splitter looks bent, but it is just a shadow)
this what i was thinking of doing though..(thanks for the pic Kyokio)

i think it looks better without the tinted tails, to me with the tinted tails it just looks like an overkill.

^i'm honestly thinking about removing the tinted tails, and getting the OSIR cf mirror housings..i have an rs4 grille in the garage, but the question is..should i put it on? i think the rs4 fog mesh looks good with the s-line grille

Did you get that from the guy on ebay? If so, i did as well and was very suprised in the qaulity and fit of it. Unfortunally the 3m tape he has on the back isn't enough (or it could be that it's too cold to get it to stick)

Take off the tint, take off the splitter and put on the RS4 grill. Wheels would also look good poweder coated Matte black.

yeah i got it from ebay. it's great quality actually. this is the second one i've bought from him in the past year haha. i had that problem with my last one when i first got the car. it came off in the cold so i might wait till the spring if anything to really attach it.

yea mine wont stick in the cold i'm gonna call a local shop my bro used for his votex 3 piece and ask what they used to stick it on...but i'm waiting till spring for all my cf parts to go on

it looks good. I've found that the 3m industrial double sided tape works great. My spoiler has stuck for months.

I'd pull the tint. IMO the trunk spoiler should match the door blades. Otherwise it looks kind of awkward.

Wheels look nice though, especially with the Ibis.

looks good i say tint the tail a bit more for a all black look and get those sexy carbon fiber mirror covers

I just got mine a couple days ago. It hasnt been mounted yet either. I'm actually painting it white Sunday, so I'll post some pics then for comparison.

not too hot on the cf pillars...but as far as how the cf spoiler looks on black cars? i think the cf spoiler would look amazing on a black car. it'll blend it perfectly and give off a subtle look

Don't do carbon fiber anything! lol
I don't know why, but to me carbon fiber never looked good on the exterior. It always looks like its black but dirty with gray rain spots. The gloss black pillars give great contrast with the white IMO.

I second painting the spoiler white and props on the colored reflectors, gives the car a much cleaner look.

I love all of those ideas except the paint of the CF, and selling the RS4 grill. Boooo! It matches the fogs you already installed and will look sick.

You should also black out the back rings. Without the tails, it'll look really good.

BTW, what are you gonna do with my mirrors?
